For most of my life, taking care of others came naturally. Taking care of my own ambitions did not.
As an educator, I’ve spent years pouring time, energy, and attention into helping other people grow. And while that work has been deeply meaningful, somewhere along the way, I became very good at putting my own goals on hold.
I kept telling myself I would focus on them later.
Later kept moving.
Working with Kweku forced me to confront that pattern in a way I truly needed.
